CHICAGO, - Health department officials identified compliance issues at CITY HALL in an inspection dated 04/10/2023.

The second violation concerned food safety requirements. Inspectors documented: Proper Cooling Methods Used. Non-compliance with safety standards may create conditions that compromise food safety.
The third violation concerned food temperatures. Inspectors documented: Adequate Equipment for Temperature Control - Comments: Observed 2 Drawer Prep Cooler Containing Tcs Items Such As Pork and Hamburgers Maintaining an Improper Ambient Temperature of 49.1f. Cooler Tagged and Held for Inspection. Instructed to Maintain All Coolers Containing Tcs Itesm at or Below 41f at All Times. Priority Violation 7-38-005. Citation Issued.. Instructed to Provide.. FDA sanitation guidelines require regular cleaning and sanitizing of all food contact surfaces to prevent cross-contamination and bacterial growth.
